Get ready for the 2026 Skulls In-Game event! New frame and new illusions, provided you slaughter enough enemies!

What better way to celebrate the recent rebalance of weapons than by slaughtering endless hordes of enemies? Join us in celebrating Warhammer Skulls with another iteration of Vermintide 2’s in-game Skulls event!

Starting today and until May 31, pick up skulls during missions to gain a powerful but dangerous boon… The more skulls you take, the stronger you’ll be, but the stronger your lust for bloodshed as well! Make sure you don’t run out of enemies to kill if you picked up too many!


Participating in the event can earn you a brand new portrait frame, The Skull Collector.

Can’t have too many skulls, can you? Leastways, you don’t seem to think so.

Last, but not least, there’s more than one way to tint your weapons red! As a community, kill 300,000,000 enemies during the event to unlock a new set of Crimson Illusions, available for the following weapons:

  • Kruber’s Blunderbuss

  • Bardin’s Crossbow

  • Kerillian’s Longbow

  • Saltzpyre’s Flail

  • Sienna’s Fire Dagger
